Ikan Bakar

The Makro has some truly great looking fish, and upon our weekly raid there we purchased a goodly quantity of halibut, with a view to making ikan bakar pedas. The pedas part was to come from lots of sambal, specifically the sambal setan that the blog has already featured. While it may have been somewhat pedas it was not really of the pedasity that we require. However the addition of some ground chilli quickly solved that problem  to our satisfaction.

Naturally we took pictures of this latest culinary endeavor, which shows not only the fish and sambal, but also our venture into using kaffir lime leaves as additional seasoning. Behold the results:





The experiment was deemed a success and further adventures in fish await.
