This is a funny story. When we were looking for hotels in the Ramblas/Catalunya area before the trip, practically all of them were fully booked. We got so frustrated that we were actually ready to camp out in front of the Zara and Mango stores like a bunch of hobos. That was the main purpose of the trip anyway..shopping! Anyways thanks to Mat Atas' help we did find a nice hotel to stay at and we did manage to get some shopping done. Whee!!

Arlin and I on the Metro, on our way to Placa Catalunya, all psyched up to do some serious shopping!
First we went to this huge mall near the harbour and then we just went up and down The Ramblas and into all the Zara, Mango and Bershka stores! After all that, we had to sit down and rest our aching feet and arms! Arlin's fingers actually turned blue from all the weight of the shopping bags! Oh I'm having this white chocolate drink here which was really yummy and thick. And thanks to the French uncles who helped us take this pic!
