Neno since you asked me to blog...i'm doing just that. :) Well anyway we bought flowers from a vending machine in Aalsmeer last weekend. Yup...a vending machine...cool kan? I got so excited when I saw the machine I made DD stop the car...heheh...so we went out and I put in 3 euros and I got two bouquets of roses!

Chocolate Mousse

It doesn't matter that the other sisters aren't all that keen to blog. I still want to tempt them and show them my stuff...:P Anyway I made some chocolate mousse the other day...cause I still had some chocolate ganache leftover from the Sachertorte we made. Anyway I filled some dessert wine glasses with the mousse...and I dusted some cocoa powder...and sprinkled some crunchy toasted ground hazelnut on top. Enjoy!

Blog Revival?

Hm. It has definitely been awhile. But today I feel like blogging. Stupid facebook..:p Kinda silly to start blogging again about pasta...but I just made some...really really fresh homemade pasta from scratch...and I want to show my sisters....but I just don't feel like putting the pics on FB. So here goes...

I forgot to take a pic when we were rolling out the dough and putting it through the pasta machine...yeah I finally got one!
Anyway we made two different kinds...one kinda thin..and another thicker one macam fettucine.
And I bought Jamie's pasta sauce last weekend....thought i'd try.
Overall it was okay....making the pasta was tons fun though!
It'd be so nice if we could all make pasta together sometime....perhaps do lasagna or ravioli. :)

Last Sunday, Mommy, Cik Ti and I went to the Esplanade to watch the play 'The Love Story of Romzi & Juleha' by Teater Kami It's a play in Malay, based on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, but set in post-war Singapore.

Romzi comes from a Bawean family, while Juleha is Javanese. So there was a lot of Boyan and Jawa mixed together with the Melayu. Wah not so easy to understand!

We absolutely loved the costumes and the pancaragam music! The acting was believable and I especially liked Buang's (Benvolio) character. The downer was the makcik and pakcik sitting beside Mommy who kept 'interacting' with the actors. The makcik actually shouted out 'Wah betul punye marah' when Tahjudeen (Tybalt) was doing his pissed off monologue. Haha cute ah makcik but damn annoying too.

I've been keeping this a secret from everyone but I have a new boyfriend. Yep Jason and I have been an item for a few weeks now but we've been keeping it a secret from everyone. What you don't believe me?

Well here's evidence. He was in Stockholm last weekend and gave me a call and asked me out. He gave me his new CD and signed it for me and then sang 'I'm yours' just for me.

Nyum-Nyum.

The weather was rather lovely a few weeks ago..so we barbecued quite a bit then.

DD bought a new bbq set!

We had some burgers...

And some steak and some tandoori chicken..

And some salmon...

And some mushrooms and lamb..

And we had some carpaccio too as usual :)

And I used some of my own herbs to marinate the meat! :))

And these were some really killer spicy turkey skewers.

And don't ask me to rotate the pics...i'm lazy :p
